Today the work began on the Event Center alley! I'm so excited! The guys are setting the poles so we can string lights across the alley. The alley will be paved with the memorial bricks. There will be patio furniture and wrought iron fencing at both ends. We will have access to the alley from inside the event center. It is going to be such a great addition to Front Street!

Officer Ken Tate found a citizen who ran out of gas in this heat, with thier children in the vehicle. Officer Tate did not hesitate when he went to the gas station and made sure she had enough to get back home.
Officer Tate is one of our part time officers and never hesitates to give a helping hand. Thank you Officer Tate for setting a good example and helping somebody in need!
